Here you see the Fishing Vesel CAPATAIN MORGAN off-loading her lobster traps at the Brooklin Town Dock in Naskeag Harbor yesterday. I’m told that she’s already collected half of her 800 traps from nearby coastal waters.
The traps with their gear stored inside will be trailered to a winter storage area and the vessel likely will transition to “dragging” (dredging) for Atlantic scallops during the winter. As a bonus, here’s a “trap trailer” that was at the Harbor yesterday:
