Here and below are images of the rough back road to Heaven. Stated another way: It’s the unpaved road in a summer paradise for people who lead a good life by building and sailing wooden boats, and/or doing esoteric things marine. The sign is in the middle of the WoodenBoat School campus.
WBS’s on-site courses end tomorrow and the School already is transitioning to the afterlife. Sailboats are disappearing from Great Cove, visiting students are getting ready to leave the area, and fall is chomping at the bit to enter and create a renewed paradise for people who lead a good life by enjoying Maine’s outdoors. And, of course, by supporting the Patriots.
