We finally have a name for this 47-foot Express Cruiser that we’ve been watching being built at the Brooklin Boat Yard. She’ll be christened BREAKTHROUGH, reportedly a reference to her innovative design and latest systems. She’ll be home-porting in Castine, Maine.
I’m told that BREAKTHROUGH will be undergoing her first trials in our waters on July 15, barring unforeseen circumstances. A hull detail:
